1 Foolproof Way to Save a Bad Day
You know those days where you get up and it feels like you’re already off to a terrible start?
You wake up late, and then feel like you’re in too much of a hurry to do a proper morning routine. And you barely have energy to show up meaningfully for the day’s work. You convince yourself to scroll on your phone rather than do meaningful work because you’re too tired, after all.
Once a day starts going downhill, it can be very hard to salvage.
This is ONE thing you can do to take a lot of sting out of a bad day- simply allowing yourself to start over. Even if it’s for the 100th time. Reflect on the bad day, and make a clear and realistic plan for the next day.
The key is to not allow today’s badness to seep into tomorrow.
Give yourself a clean slate for the next day by taking the time to accept what happened (or didn’t) and making a new and clear plan for the next day. And as for giving yourself a clean slate, do yourself the favor of getting as much sleep and rest for the new day to come.
Put simply, the easiest way to save a bad day is to accept it and set yourself up for a better day the following day.
